We have arrived at about 3:30 p.m., but before we got here, we were excited to see BC sign and earlier in the day, a REAL PHONE BOOTH!
David was so thrilled to see his buddies from the 2009 Convoy. They immediately gathered and couldn't stop even when I began Happy Hour!
Lots of plans for the next few days including helping celebrate Rollo's centennial, an opening ceremony with bigwigs of BC and Yukon Territory. Many pictures to follow this week, and catching our breath will be great!
Thoroughly enjoying the posts. It's all a grand adventure and while some of those hot rides sound grueling, it does seem that you've interspersed some nice air-conditioned nights in there also--whether from necessity or not. The most impressive thing for me so far, though, is to know that you actually got to go to Walnut Grove!
ReplyDeleteMom,
ReplyDeleteI am glad to see that crossing most of Canada in a 60 year old ambulance constitutes reaching the START of your big adventure. You never really tackle easy stuff do you? Have you had a chance to sleep out in the back of the truck yet?
Cheers,
Matt
